Welcome, I Guess

You Probably Came Here by Accident

So, here you are. Welcome. There's not much to do here, I only made this blog because I was unaware of the content of a class. Turns out, coding is next semester. Maybe you'll find something interesting here, who knows? Anyways, I am a teen guy with an interesting (good or bad, up to you) selection of hobbies, interests, etc. Firstly, I'm Christian, pretty important to me. I am currently learning Russian in order to better communicate with Christians in Belarus. I like video games (Hit me up on Xbox: Used to Be PS3). It's too early in the development of my blog to really be able to tell you what you will find here. Expect life events, video games, and other nonsense. In conclusion, thanks for being here, I hope you like my blog.

The Harlem Hellfighters

Becoming an Author    For my American literature class, I have to write a short-story. I've decided to write based on the Harlem Hellfighters. They were officially known as the 369th infantry in WWI. An entire infantry of African-Americans. Americans at the time showed hatred toward them, to the point of giving them to France because they refused to fight alongside blacks. In France, they were treated like any other regiment, also keeping their uniforms besides their new French helmets.    The Hellfighters were one of the most impressive people on the battlefield. Pvt. Needham Roberts heard a German patrol entering his designated area by cutting barbed wire. He accidentally loaded a French magazine into his American gun, jamming it. He then fought off the patrol using the rifle as a club and a bolo knife, killing at least four and wounding about 20 more. Roberts was the first American awarded the Croix de Guerre. He wasn't given the Medal of Honor until 2015,...

No Longer a Freeloader

So, I got a job. I've been working a few days now and it's pretty good. I work at a skating rink called Skate Galaxy  behind the skate rental or I'm a skate guarding some days. My idea was that if I like going there, why not work there? It's an easy job and mostly enjoyable, especially while skate guarding. You practically get an hour-long break where you get to skate around and just make sure everyone is obeying the rules. The worst part of the job would be cleaning bathrooms, and that's it.    My schedule fluctuates, so there's no guarantee I'll be there if you ever decide to skate, but it would be cool to see people I know every once in a while. Ah, and with a job comes "being a light in the workplace." Funnily enough, the day Sweet Pea gave a devotion on this topic was the first day I started work. It's like there was some...reason for it... *wink*wink.*    Anyways, things are looking good I guess. I dunno. I usually try to include ...

Cool Math Games

Back when I was in the public school system in Alabama, I had a few classes involving computers. I actually was such a "teacher's pet" I could get away with emulating an Nintendo 64 on the computer and plugging in a controller I brought. I would bring four controllers and my friends and I would all play Mario Party. It was great. But, before I started that, there was a thing known as "Cool Math Games." It was way below our age range, but it was all our teacher would allow. Click in the link to go play some. Yes, I did purposefully make the link look the worst possible, thank you for noticing.
