The Creation Museum

A New Perspective

Last week I went to the Creation Museum and the Ark Encounter in Virginia, both very interesting places. Each tackled issues between creation and man's idea of how things came to be. First, I'll start with the Ark.

First, the bow is in the left of the picture, even though it looks kind of weird for the front of a boat. Second, the inside of the actual scale Ark is full of exhibits about the truth of the flood and the methods that would have allowed such an amazing thing to happen. This includes methods for holding all kinds of animals, feeding and watering the animals, and methods for living.

It is possible dinosaurs would have been on the ark, but died due to natural selection. The flood would explain fossils and frozen fish found atop mountains. Also, Noah wouldn't need every animal. He would only need pairs of different types of animals, for example, he wouldn't need lions, tigers, leopards, and cheetahs. Only one type would be necessary. They would then spread and adapt after the flood.

There is way more I could talk about, but there is too much to cover, so I'll skip to the Museum.

The museum focuses more on creation than the ark. It goes from creation all the way to Christ. The entire museum is very thought provoking. However, one thing cannot be avoided: Controversy. Many atheists poke fun at these museums. "We are now teaching children to believe humans and dinosaurs lived together..." "Ken Ham (founder) is an idiot." As much as I really enjoyed the two locations, it pains me to hear those who are lost put down something so unique. I recommend both of these to anyone, saved or unsaved, with or without doubt.

I Got a Pageview From Russia!

I Know This is Random, but It's Pretty Cool    I have no idea how they stumbled upon my blog, but they did, so that's cool. Just thought I would say something about it.    Спасибо за посещение моего блога!

No Longer a Freeloader

So, I got a job. I've been working a few days now and it's pretty good. I work at a skating rink called Skate Galaxy  behind the skate rental or I'm a skate guarding some days. My idea was that if I like going there, why not work there? It's an easy job and mostly enjoyable, especially while skate guarding. You practically get an hour-long break where you get to skate around and just make sure everyone is obeying the rules. The worst part of the job would be cleaning bathrooms, and that's it.    My schedule fluctuates, so there's no guarantee I'll be there if you ever decide to skate, but it would be cool to see people I know every once in a while. Ah, and with a job comes "being a light in the workplace." Funnily enough, the day Sweet Pea gave a devotion on this topic was the first day I started work. It's like there was some...reason for it... *wink*wink.*    Anyways, things are looking good I guess. I dunno. I usually try to include ...

Cool Math Games

Back when I was in the public school system in Alabama, I had a few classes involving computers. I actually was such a "teacher's pet" I could get away with emulating an Nintendo 64 on the computer and plugging in a controller I brought. I would bring four controllers and my friends and I would all play Mario Party. It was great. But, before I started that, there was a thing known as "Cool Math Games." It was way below our age range, but it was all our teacher would allow. Click in the link to go play some. Yes, I did purposefully make the link look the worst possible, thank you for noticing.
